Who can attend?
Anyone! If you’re reading this, you can attend. This includes people who have never been to a hackathon before. You do not need to be an expert to participate, and the people at the event are super friendly. We have mentors and helpers to support you, so please do join us!

Nope! Admission is free.

What is the deadline for application?
The deadline for application is June 17th 2021, 23:59:59 GMT+1. The competition starts on June 25th 2021.

What size can a team be?
Teams can be up to 5 people. If you want to hack alone, that’s totally fine. If you are still looking for a team, don’t worry, we will have a team building session at the event.

What do I need?
You must be registered and can use all the tools and resources you need. That’s it!

Do I have to compete?
Absolutely not! However we do encourage you to take the chance, because there’s nothing to lose! Everyone has a chance to win, whether professional hacker or first-timer.
We want you to have a great time and tons of fun. Just make yourself comfortable and we’re sure that you’ll build something amazing and enjoy yourself.

How does a digital hackathon work?
We offer digital onboarding and an exciting supporting programme through the weekend, all community events will be streamed. If possible, we will organise a get together in the evenings for those present in Karlsruhe.

How do I get there?
The event takes place virtually. If we can organise a get together, it will be hosted at the museum x in Karlsruhe, Germany. Take a tram to the station “Marktplatz”, it’s only a couple of meters away from the venue.
